Talk to the Artists. Get to know them. They're cool people who make really neat items for you to admire and hopefully buy!

Eat great food! The food vendors are also great folk who love cook unique, yummy food for you!

Enjoy the weather! This is the region's first outdoor arts and craft show of the season. It could be 80 degrees and gorgeous or it could be 50 degree and blustery and rainy. Embrace it! It's Minnesota! 

Shop Local! Check out the permanent stores in downtown Detroit Lakes. We're so lucky to have a vibrant downtown with great clothing, home decor and more available. Visit those businesses, too, and tell them how much you love having the Street Faire on Washington Avenue. We know it inconveniences them some, but it's such a great way to showcase what downtown Detroit Lakes has to offer!

Refer artists to us! Do you know an artist that you think would be great for the Street Faire? Tell them about us or share their contact info with us and we'll invite them to a future Faire! Artist booth applications are available December 1 of each year.
